Training is just one part of the puzzle. What you eat, how you sleep, and how you live determine your results. Here's my approach — simple, sustainable, and backed by real experience.

Learn my approachWhen I was 115kg, I thought I had to starve myself to lose weight. I was wrong. The real change came when I stopped dieting and started building a lifestyle — one that included foods I actually enjoyed, consistent habits, and room for flexibility.
This page isn't about quick fixes or meal replacement shakes. It's about understanding what your body needs and making small, sustainable changes that add up over time.
Simple, flexible, and sustainable — no extreme diets, no food shaming.
80% whole, nutrient-dense foods. 20% flexibility for treats and social eating. Balance, not perfection.
I prioritise real, unprocessed foods — meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, fruits, nuts, and whole grains.
Drinking enough water supports metabolism, recovery, and mental clarity. I aim for 3+ litres daily.
No diet works without proper sleep. I prioritise 7–8 hours of quality rest every night.
My simple approach to proteins, carbs, and fats — no complicated tracking, just education.
Essential for muscle repair, recovery, and keeping you full. I prioritise protein in every meal.
Your body's primary fuel source. I focus on complex carbs for sustained energy and performance.
Essential for hormone function, brain health, and absorbing fat-soluble vitamins. Quality matters.
Simple, delicious, and nutritious meals I eat regularly — no fancy ingredients required.
The daily routines that support my nutrition and overall wellbeing.
I eat at roughly the same times each day to regulate hunger and energy levels.
I eat slowly and without distractions — it helps me recognise when I'm full.
I prep 2–3 days of meals at a time to stay on track when life gets busy.
I walk 8,000+ steps daily and stay active outside of gym sessions.
I aim for 7–8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. No screens 30 minutes before bed.
I practice deep breathing and journaling to manage stress and stay grounded.
Supplements support a healthy lifestyle — they don't replace good food and consistent training. Here's what I use and why.
Supports strength, power, workout performance, and muscle recovery. 5g daily.
Supports heart health, brain function, and joint health. 1,000mg daily.
Supports muscle function, recovery, relaxation, and energy production. 300mg daily.
Supports normal immune function, protein synthesis, and recovery. 15mg daily.
Supports immune function, bone health, and mood. 2,000 IU daily (especially in winter).
Convenient way to hit daily protein targets — especially post-workout. 1–2 scoops as needed.
One of the most underrated aspects of health and performance.
I aim for at least 3 litres of water every day. Hydration supports metabolism, joint health, skin, digestion, and workout performance. I keep a 1-litre bottle with me at all times and refill it 3 times before the day ends.
Changing your relationship with food is the most important change you'll make.
“I used to see food as the enemy. I'd binge eat, feel guilty, and then starve myself to 'make up for it.'
It was a cycle of shame that never worked.
Today, I see food as fuel. I eat to perform, to recover, and to enjoy life.
I don't demonise carbs. I don't fear fats. I eat meals I actually like — because sustainability is the secret.
You don't need to eat chicken and broccoli every meal. You don't need to cut out sugar forever.
You need to find a balance that works for you — and stick with it, long enough to see the results.”
